NY Giants Gives Local HS Football Team $2,000 for Football Program

As reported on the official Giants web site:

"The New York Giants have selected Mr. Ron Stover of Chester Academy (Chester, NY) as “The Lou Rettino High School Football Coach of the Year” presented by BP for the week of November 21, 2011. The Hambletonians qualified for the State Championships for the first time in school history after only having a varsity football team for 9 years."

As a proud parent of one of the cheerleaders for the team, I am asking all hvBiz.com members to donate whatever amount they can in order for the Cheerleaders to get the equipment they desperately need.

Any funds collected over and above the immediate needs for the game on Friday will be used toward additional travel expenses, and more importantly to purchase necessary safety equipment, such as safety mats for the cheer squad (which we are in dire need of and cost $700 a piece).

Any donor who contributes over $500 will get a special cheer created just for them!
